Condolence: I sat near Wendy in study hall at IHHS and was fascinated by her cool nice personality and she was so beautiful but always was approachable. I always wanted to know her better after high school and heard about her tragic accident in 1983 and wondered why this should happen to such a nice person? Anyway God Bless family and friends and know that her shining spirit is now on Heaven

Condolence From: Lani Garner
Condolence: Wynne family, My deepest condolences for the loss of a shining spirit. When we heard of Wendy's passing Cali, Regan and I shared memories of her from our childhood. I was too small to have too many but we were giggling as they talked about her taking them to get (alot) of jelly beans and how even certain flavors remind them of her to this day. The Garner family honors her life along with you as she touched each of our lives in a special way. Know that you are in our thoughts and hearts. Rest in peace, sweet Wendy. We love you!

Condolence: I went to high school with Wendy and we also rode horses together as well as "attempted" to play on the softball team (she and I alternated right field - shows how bad we were). We had many laughs together and I was devastated when she had her accident. When I did visit her in the nursing home - my heart would break as she was always so fun and full of life. She will be fondly remembered.

Condolence From: Minister Shirley Stephens
Condolence: I was so deeply saddened to hear about your sister, Wendy's passing. I extend my heartfelt sympathy to your family and Wanda at this difficult time! Suffering the loss of a loved one is hard! But I'm sure you are thankful for the many wonderful years you had together. Wendy was real special! Wanda would bring her to our church events and she would be smiling! It was as if she was a honorary member of our church! Wanda kept us abreast of the things that would happen to Wendy and she would ask the church to pray and we did. We're happy that our church played a part in Wendy's life. We believe that prayer changes things! God would pull her through and for that we are thankful! We considered Wendy as Wanda's "daughter from another mother", because she loved Wendy so much and took good care of her! I can never forget Wendy! My prayers will continue, as I ask God to bless your wonderful family, including Wanda and give you the strength and courage you need in this very sad and difficult time! Thinking of you at this time! God Bless Minister Shirley Stephens Greater Potter's Temple FBC

Condolence: Going to work with my grandmother at 6am was never something I wanted to do willingly as a kid but seeing Wendy light up when she heard our voices made it worth it always. As a young adult today I can humbly say that meeting Wendy and seeing that contagious smile was a blessing that I will forever cherish. Her fight for life was truly admirable and her spirit touched so many. Wendy will always be in our hearts. My family and I send our support and love to the Wynne Family, you all have truly been a light in our lives. Praying for you all.

Condolence: I want to express my deepest sympathies to the entire Wynne Family in your incredible loss. My Mother began caring for Wendy when I was only 14 or 15 years old and she continued to do so for 35 years. I grew to love Wendy and her tenacity to fight for life. Eventually, I got married and had children whom have also fallen in love with the incredible spirit of this beautiful woman. Our lives have been enriched for having known her and we (The Cornell Family) send our love/support and prayers of comfort to you all as Wendy ascends to heaven!
