Albert E. Huber Jr. "Bud", of Cincinnati, OH was a young 96 years old when he passed away on October 31, 2021, after a short illness. Bud, a devoted family man will be missed by all his family. Bud was happy to be able to remain in his family home until the end. The place he shared with his beloved wife Dorothy, his children as well as grandchildren. His passion for life and the Huber Lumber Company will leave all who knew him fond memories. He was born on September 2, 1925, graduated from Withrow high school, as well as the University of Cincinnati College of administration where he was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. Bud proudly served his country in the US Navy from 1942-1945. Joining at the age of 17 and serving on the USS Carter Hall Bud was a third-generation business owner and spent over 70 years in the family business, Huber Lumber Company, in Norwood Ohio. He loved helping people and one of his passions was sharing his knowledge of building and home remodeling. He took so much pride in bringing his family into the business. He was highly respected for his knowledge and business senses, developing many friendships with business associates and clients over the past 70 years. Perhaps the most prominent thing about Bud was his passion for life, best witnessed by his easy-going disposition and sense of humor. He lived a simple life of routine and has passed on a great work ethic to his entire family. Bud was a great example of self-control and optimism. Bud is survived by his four children Thomas Huber (wife Cindy Huber), Barbara Huber Greve, Kenneth Huber, Randall Huber (wife Jelina Huber), and five grandchildren Lauren, Megan (husband Micheal), Claire, Holly, and Nicholas. His wife Dorothy Marie Huber, who proceeded him in 2013, his sister Betty and wonderful nieces and nephews. We will all miss him more than words can say.
