Obituary for Angelo "Joe" M. Iannelli
Angelo Mario Joe Iannelli, age 86 of Anderson Township, passed away on March 4, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents Angelo Iannelli and Antonette (nee Renzetti) Iannelli, and his siblings Frankie Iannelli, Annie (Jimmy) Aghotte, Lucy (John) Denison, Philomena (Bob) Chambers, Tony (Phyllis) Iannelli, and Silvio Iannelli.
Joe is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Patricia Iannelli (nee Sullivan), sister Rose (Jerry) Brackett, sons Brian (Missy) Iannelli and David (Vikki) Iannelli, five grandchildren-Danny Iannelli, Maria Iannelli, Robin (Jenna) Brennelli, Sophia Iannelli, and Marco Iannelli, as well as many loving nieces & nephews and great-nieces & nephews.
Joe (known also by his stage name Jose Mario) was an accomplished singer and piano virtuoso, performing in dozens of cities and states across the nation. His silky smooth baritone voice, technical skill on piano, and radiant personality made him admired by concert goers everywhere, entertaining crowds from Las Vegas to the White House, even earning accolades from President Clinton at a local fundraiser. Also a sharply skilled realtor, he helped hundreds of customers in and around the Cincinnati area purchase a home, as well as selling numerous commercial properties to investors around the country. In his later years, Joe enjoyed donating his time playing piano and singing for nursing homes, churches, and children. He also loved spending time on his tractor and the garden. But even more than that he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids whom he doted on.
Service at Cherry Grove United Methodist Church, 1428 Eight Mile Rd., Anderson Twp., on Wed., Mar. 9, at 1 PM. Family and Friends may visit at the Church on Wed. from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM.
Internment will be held at Spring Grove Cemetery.
