Obituary for Dolores M. King (Geyer)
Dolores M. King (nee Geyer), age 80 of Cincinnati, died December 15, 2022. She was the beloved daughter of the late John Henry and Helen Grace Geyer and devoted mother of Diana Lynne (Phil) Rigg.
Dolores dedicated her life to children. She was a caregiver to many families' precious little ones most of her life. She also worked as a preschool teacher and at the YMCA, staffing their before and after-school programs. Dolores was a foster parent too, had a volunteer's spirit and cared deeply about social justice. Her other passion was the arts. She had a vast library of all history's great painters and enjoyed sharing her knowledge with others. Dolores had a deep love of the performing arts too. Throughout her life, she attended hundreds of live theater and arts performances nationwide and saved every single playbill.
