Doris L. Willard (née Meyer), age 86 of Anderson Twp., died January 6, 2021. She was the beloved wife of Robert G. Willard (aka Jess, deceased), devoted mother of Cynthia A. Lawson, Elizabeth K. Willard and Katherine L. Smucker (David), loving grandmother of Gregory M. Cates, Robert D. Smucker and Jacob W. Smucker, caring great-grandmother of Jada M. Cates.

Doris graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a degree in primary education. She met her husband, Jess, during college married and moved out west while he was in the military. She was a substitute teacher for a few years, full-time housewife, mother and homemaker. She loved her family and friends and could light up a room very easily!

Doris was a devoted wife, wonderful mother and a terrific grandmother! Her memory and her true love for her church will forever live among us and will be missed everyday. A private service for family will be held at Zion Lutheran Church, 1175 Birney Ln., Cincinnati, Ohio 45230 on Tuesday, January 12, 2021. The service will be streamed online via FaceBook (Zion Lutheran Church - Cincinnati on FB). If desired, memorials may be directed to Zion Luthern Church in lieu of flowers.
