Garnet Provident

Garnet Provident (nee Lipka) age 93 of Norwood, died July 26, 2023. She leaves behind her daughter, Shirley Harry, grandson David, and cousins Gale Kuhn, Roberta Watson, and Paula Mason. Preceded in death by her brother, Elmer who died in 1953 and was a Marine who served in WWII. She was a long-time member of Grace United Methodist Church in Norwood. A lover of Animals, she rescued and cared for many cats and pigeons. Before retiring she worked at Deaconess Hospital, Scripps Howard Newspapers, Ziv Artists and others.
