Janet Sue Ornella (nee Adams), or "Tan Jan", peacefully passed away on March 8th, 2023, at the age of 70, surrounded by love from her family. Janet was a lifelong Cincinnati resident and Anderson High School graduate who spent her entire life selflessly providing, protecting, and caring for her family and loved ones. She spent her life working in the hospitality industry and gained many lifelong friends along the way. She was a hardworking, thoughtful, and selfless soul who only cared about others. Her love for animals and the outdoors was unmatched. She is survived by her son, Chris (Jamie) and granddaughter Sammi, sisters Barbie Davis, Lauren Faulkner, Margo Hodapp (Paul), Betsy Tartar and brothers David Adams (JoAnn), Dale Adams (Natasha), Steve Adams (Allison), 10 nieces and nephews, 7 great nieces and nephews and 1 great great nephew. She is preceded in death by her parents Marjorie Ruddy (nee Satchwell), and Larry Adams, along with other beloved family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jan's name can be made to the Peppermint Pig Animal Rescue, 8454 Beechmont Ave., Cincinnati, Ohio 45255.
