Life Story for Janie Faye Sastre
Janie Faye Sastre (nee Osbourne) age 69 of Anderson Twp., died May 18, 2021. She was the beloved wife of Marcos Sastre IV and devoted mother of Marcos Sastre V. Janie was born on December 2, 1951 in Lake Wales, Florida and was the cherished daughter of the late David and Dessie Mae Lemons Osbourne .
Janie excelled in varied careers. Her teaching career began in Florida at Lake Wales School for Learning Disabilities. After moving to Cincinnati she worked at Playboy Inc. and worked in environmental industrial equipment sales. After acquiring a Masters Degree in Education Janie became a teacher at The Pace School in Cincinnati. She loved being a teacher. Teaching was an important part of Janie’s life.
Janie is deeply loved by her family of in-laws, cousins, nephews, nieces and friends. Her light will be missed by all. Funeral will be held at T.P. White & Sons Funeral Home, 2050 Beechmont Ave., Mt. Washington, on Friday, June 4th at 1 pm. The interment will immediately follow at Mt. Washington Cemetery.
