Joseph F. Skurka, age 93, formerly of Anderson Twp., died March 8, 2021. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Aino E. Skurka (nee Sillman). Survived by his sons Michael (Leslie) Skurka of Huntington, WV and Dean Skurka of Cincinnati, grandchildren Jennifer (Rick) Dilley, Lindsey (Scott) Foster, and Mia Schoellkopf, great-grandchildren Maya Foster, Sofie Foster, and Joanna Foster. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during WWII and
was a life member of American Legion Post 484. Joe worked for many years for the FAA as an Air Traffic Controller. A private family interment was held at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. T.P. White & Sons Funeral Home serving the family. www.tpwhite.com
