Obituary for Karen M. Hartje (nee Horton)
Karen Marie Hartje (nee Horton) entered life eternal on December 17, 2020. She was born on July 9, 1956. She was the daughter of the the late Thomas and Mary Jane (O'Connor) Horton. Karen graduated from Marian High School and UC Clermont and was a long time employee of Matlock Electric. She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish and also worshiped at Anderson Hills at Salem Church.
Karen is survived by her husband Craig, daughter Elisha (Chris) Victory, brothers Tom (Cathy Hamblin), Dick (Barb), Brian, & Gary (Mary Jo) Horton, sister Kathy (Adam) Hayes all of greater Cincinnati, brother in law Jim (Brenda) Hartje of Ankeny, Iowa, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Her memorial service will be at 11am Saturday February 13, 2021 at Anderson Hills UM Church 7515 Forest Rd. Cincinnati, Ohio 45255.
