LaVerne E. Fritzie Gilb (nee Sandmann) age 98 of Mt. Washington, died April 28, 2022. She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond C. Gilb, devoted mother of Pam (Tom Martin) Poff, Don (Patty) Gilb, Jeff (Melinda) Gilb, Amy (Brad) White, loving grandmother of Jennifer (Jeff) Evans, Brad Poff, Alison Poff, Joseph (Lindsey) Gilb, Emily (Brad) Brookbank, Jackson Gilb, Chelsea White, Ray (Molly) White, Natalie White, and Kerianne White, caring great-grandmother of Kaki, Quinn, Chas, Oscar, Owen, and Archie, and dear sister of the late Jean Sandmann, Elaine Pastura, and Larry Sandmann. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Cross Immaculata Parish, 30 Guido St., Mt. Adams, on Thursday, May 5th at 11 am. Friends may visit at the church on Thursday from 10 to 11 am.
