Margarette (nee Bowman) Loomis passed at the age of 95 on Saturday, January 8, 2022. She was born in Cynthiana, KY on July 7, 1926 to the late Addie Pearl and Elmer Bowman. She had 8 siblings who all passed before her.

Margarette came to Cincinnati at the age of 16 where she resided for life. She enrolled at Norwood High School to work towards her high school diploma where she met Robert Loomis. They were married in 1944 at the age of 18.

Margarette is survived by many loving family members that included her four (4) children Shirel (Karen) Loomis, Roy (Michelle) Loomis, Michael (Pam) Loomis and Vicki (Dan) Clary. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, Nikki (Greg) Nie, Jamie Loomis, Kaitlyn Loomis, Jason Loomis, Michael (Allie) Loomis, Matthew (Maura) Loomis, Nathan Loomis, Brooklyn (Jose) Castro, Ben Clary, Abby Clary (Rich Ransick), and John Clary (Kayla Louderback); 13 great grandchildren, Andrew, Maya, Hannah, Winter, Audrey, Dakota, Jason, Natalie, Caleb, Olive, Lucy, Julian, Violet, and the late Brennen Loomis. She also leaves behind several loving nieces and nephews.

Margarette will be cremated and then buried at Spring Grove Cemetery. Service details to be determined.
