Obituary for Mary P. Germann
Mary P. Germann (nee Pelzer), age 88 of Mt. Washington, passed peacefully from this life on November 2, 2022.
She was born to Fred and Melania Pelzer on August 3, 1934 in Cincinnati and grew up in Oakley.
Cecil Germann, her husband of 61 years, preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by two sons Matthew Germann and Bruce Germann. Preceding her as well were her sister Jo Dall and brother-in-law Tony Dall, her sister Melania Esselman, and her brother and sister-in-law John and Diane Pelzer.
She is survived by one daughter, Cecilia Germann and two sons, Grant Germann and wife Lorrie, and Victor Germann and wife Susan Blue. She is also survived by two grandsons, Nicholas Germann and wife Misty, and Christopher Germann.
Other survivors are brothers and in-laws: Fred and Kay Pelzer, Bill and Judy Pelzer, Chris and Cathy Pelzer, Jack Esselman, and sistercousin Mary Jean Trageser and husband Bill.
For many years she worked for the Cincinnati Public Library and the University of Cincinnati.
She was a longtime member of Guardian Angels Catholic Church and memorial contributions in her honor may be made to the church or a charity of your choice.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Guardian Angels Church, Wednesday, November 9th at 10:30 am. Friends may visit at the church on Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 am. T.P. White & Sons Funeral Home serving the family. www.tpwhite.com
