Mary Jean Kazee (nee Roberts) age 89 of Anderson Twp., died April 25, 2022. Mary Jean was the beloved wife of 65 years to Wayne Kazee. Mary Jean was the fourth daughter born to Walter Willy & Ruth Stanley Roberts, sisters Sarah Francis, Lois Geneva, and Jo Ann whom along with their spouses preceded her in death. Mary Jean was the devoted mother of two sons, Stan (Lee) Kazee and Steve (Denise) Kazee; four grandchildren - Josh (Christina) Kazee, Sabrina Kazee, Ayrton Kazee, and Tyler (Molly) Castrucci. Mary Jean was a treasured aunt to 16 nieces and nephews, and an endearing sister-in-law to 9 couples. Mary Jean LOVED Jesus; she was spiritual mentor who gave many a start in their walk of Faith. She was a devoted friend always eager to listen, provide support, encouragement, and love. She was a lifelong teacher--50+ years in public education including 30 years at Mt. Moriah United Methodist Day Care, plus 35 years 5th grade Sunday School at Cherry Grove United Methodist.

Please join us for a Celebration of Life at Cherry Grove United Methodist Church, 1428 Eight Mile Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45255, on Monday, May 2 at 12:00pm. Friends may visit at the church Mon. from 10:30pm-12:00pm. A family burial will follow at Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Meal gathering at 2pm at Cherry Grove following the burial service. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati or Cherry Grove United Methodist Church.
