Obituary for Mary Lou Wolf

Mary Lou Wolf, 56 of Cincinnati, OH passed away on January 5th. She was born on October 13th, 1963 to George and Eleanor (nee: Rapson) Wolf in Hamilton, Ohio.

Mary Lou was preceded in death by her parents.

She was a loving sister to Susan (Todd) Stiffler. She adored her niece Ella, and nephews Taylor, Logan, Drew, and Jake who all loved her deeply. She is also survived by her dear friend Debbie Reeves and family.

Mary Lou received her Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Cincinnati and worked most of her career serving non-for-profit organizations. Always most important to Mary Lou in her work was caring for the underserved, such as elderly clients living in poverty and those unable to afford legal services via her work with Volunteer Lawyers for the Poor.

Music lit up her soul. She was an accomplished trumpet player. She shared her love of music by teaching family, friends, and inner-city children singing, reading, and playing instrumental music. She herself was a beautiful singer. She was a faithful, loyal friend who also loved children dearly and had a unique ability to connect with them.

Mary Lou cared much about peace and living in a state of grace.
