Obituary for Maureen C. Deeds
Maureen C. Deeds (nee Donoghue), age 88, of Cincinnati, went home to the Lord on April 8, 2022.
Maureen is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years John Deeds Sr., children Denise and Baby Deeds, parents Nellie and Dennis Donoghue, brother Dennis Donoghue, and sister Anne Deeds. She is survived by her seven children; Kathleen Campbell (Jim), Mary Deeds Brown (Ron), Anne Deeds, Patricia Topaz (On), John Deeds Jr., Maureen Marshall, and Michaleen Gross (Russ), and was a grandmother to 17 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
Maureen was blessed with a large loving family. Her children were raised with love, discipline, and humility. Maureen ensured she provided her children with a solid foundation of their Catholic faith. She was a devout Catholic, and a member of the Legion of Mary. She prayed the rosary daily and was a humble servant of the Lord and His Blessed Mother. She was a parishioner of Immaculate Heart of Mary for 43 years.
Maureens visitation will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary church on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am, and mass of Christian burial immediately following from 10:30 am to 11:30 am. Following the visitation and mass, a private burial service for her family will take place at the new St. Joseph Cemetery.
