Obituary for Richard E. Spitzmueller

Richard E. Spitzmueller loving husband of the late Helen M. Spitzmueller, (nee Shults), devoted father of Todd (Carrie) Spitzmueller, Tricia (Jay) Hauserman, Timothy (Phillip) Spitzmueller and Troy (Angela) Spitzmueller. Beloved brother of Arlene (the late William) Zins and Elaine (Jim) Walerius. Loving Hee-Haw (Grandfather) of Abby, Emma, Cara, Garrett, Alexandra, Gabe Jack, Gavin and Rylie. Also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Rich proudly served in the US Navy as Machinist Mate Third Class during the Vietnam conflict where he earned the National Defense Service Medal. Rich loved golfing, spending time with his grandchildren, traveling with family, was a car enthusiast (especially Corvettes) and loved dogs. Although theyve let him down for many years, Rich was also a die-hard Bengals and Reds fan. Died Sept. 8, 2020 at age 74. Residence Pierce Twp. Mass of Christian Burial at Guardian Angels Church, Mt. Washington on Fri. Sept. 18, at 10:30 AM. Friends may visit at the Church on Fri. from 9:30-10:30 AM.
