Rich was a fine writer when I worked with him in Consumer Products Advertising. He was a quiet and soft-spoken gentleman who always got the job done. My sincere sympathy to Kay and his surviving family. I always remember the beautiful roses he grew and brought into his secretarial staff so often. He was very proud of them and enjoyed sharing them. God bless you all and give you peace. Sincerely, Sue Lemmon, retired Mgr., Advertising Administration

Kay and family, I had the privilege working beside Rich in his years in parts advertising. I gained respect for his depth of professionalism and dedication to the company. His editing skills and creative side were unparalleled. He was a great mentor for many who crossed his path including myself. I feel the loss of a business and personal friend. Please accept my condolences. Paul McGregor (Bradenton Florida)

I had the honor and pleasure to work with Rich for many years at John Deere. I have many, many fond memories of his kindness and humor. May God bless and comfort his family, his friends, and his Deere 'family' who are grieving today.
