Obituary for Robert F. Ciampa

Robert Frank Ciampa 88 years of Cincinnati, OH and Naples FL passed away on June 17, 2019 at The Glen assisted living facility in Clermont County, Ohio. Preceded in death by his beloved grandsons Anthony and Joseph Marsico, he leaves behind his wife of 67 years Josephine. His daughters Debra Ciampa, Karen (Karl) Boppel, Jayne (Dan) Marsico, Patty D'Arcy and Bill Beglin and his son Robert (Lisa) Ciampa, grandchildren Kris (Paige), Melanie, Andrew (Hannah) Boppel, Ashley and Danielle D'Arcy, Maria and Marco Ciampa and great grandchildren Blake and Bowen Boppel, two sisters Jackie (Hank) Santangelo, Sandra (Ronald) Fuccillo. Robert will also be remembered by nieces, nephews, step grandchildren and many extended family and friends. Born and raised in Boston, MA, he met the love of his life, Josephine. Robert proudly served his country in the US Air Force stationed in Korea and other locations around the world. He subsequently enlisted in the US Army as a Chief Warren Officer serving in Vietnam and was honorably discharged in 1971. After serving his country, Robert worked in management at Morton Salt Company. Robert was an avid sports fan with particular affection for the Cincinnati Reds. The most fulfilling experience in his life was being the father of five children and grandfather. His kind and generous spirit will be sorely missed. T. P.
