Rosalia A. Barger (nee Welply), our family and community lost a bright light on Sunday, April 3, 2022, when Rosalia (also known as La La and Rose) passed away at the age of 87, with her family by her side. Rosalia was born March 2, 1935, in Norwood, OH, to Mary and Joseph Welply. She had two sisters, Mary Ann (Richard) Tobergte and Patricia (Pete) Langdon. She married Loyal J. Barger and had 6 children: Dennis (Barb) Barger, Doug (Cathy) Barger, Matt (Gale) Barger, Mary Kathleen Barger, Kristen Barger, and the late Jeffrey Barger. They had 8 grandchildren: Gregory (Victoria) Barger, Brian Barger, Michael (Anna) Barger, Andrew (Caitlin) Barger, Emily Barger, Alyssa (Garrett) Lucas, Katelyn Barger and Mark Barger.

LaLa was a devout Catholic. She loved golf, traveling, flowers and football.

Mass of Christian Burial for Rosalia A. Barger will be celebrated at St. John Fisher Church, Newtown, OH, on Tuesday, April 12 at 10:00 AM. Friends may visit at the Church on Tuesday from 9:00 - 10:00 AM. Rite of Committal will be at the Gate of Heaven cemetery.

Memorials may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
