Sandra Beirne

Sandra (Sandy) S. Beirne (nee Kline), died April 28, 2023 at the age of 78. Sandy was the beloved wife of the late David Pat Beirne, loving mother of Debbie Beirne Boone and PJ (Beth) Beirne. She was proud to be 'Gambi' to Patrick, Andrew, Ryan and Will Beirne and Baylor Boone. She is also survived by her brother Gary(Patty) Kline of Cincinnati and her sister Bev(Frank) Keeney of Fenwick, Connecticut and many beloved nieces and nephews. Sandy was preceded in death by her son Sean Michael Beirne, her parents Bob and Dorothy (nee Boesch) Kline, her brother Hank Kline and her sister-in-law Mary Beirne Rumberger. Sandy grew up on Lookout Drive in Mt. Lookout. She was a graduate of Walnut Hills High School and attended the University of Cincinnati. Sandy worked more than 35 years at Mellott and Mellott downtown. Sandy loved to garden, cared for an average of three cats at any given time and was a big fan of the Bengals, even in their leaner years. Sandy was happiest with any or all of her five grandsons over at her house. Visitation will be Monday, May 8, 2023 at Our Lord Christ the King Church, 3223 Linwood Avenue at 9am. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 am, also at Christ the King Church. Memorial donations may be made to the Hamilton County SPCA, 11900 Conrey Road, Cincinnati Ohio 45249.
