Sherry B. (nee Strauss) Vogel, age 84, passed away on February 13, 2021, followed a few weeks later by her devoted husband of 68 years, Russell W. Vogel, on March 3, 2021. Sherry was born April 25, 1936, the youngest daughter of Elisabeth and Percy Strauss and beloved sister of Anne Ross and Richard Strauss (deceased). Russell was born April 6, 1934, the oldest son of Ruth and Arthur Vogel, the brother of Sally Swearingen (deceased), Melvin Vogel (deceased) and Sharon Sanborn. Deeply in love, Sherry and Russells souls entered the Kingdom of Heaven a mere 18 days apart, taking flight to a better place together through eternity. Blessed by God, Sherry and Russell raised ten wonderful children; Deborah Wille (Bruce), Alexandra Vogel (deceased), Judith Vogel (Benjamin), Russell Vogel (Deborah), Bradford Vogel (Trudi), Carol Hadley (James), Jill Greer (Allan), Gary Vogel (Holly), James Vogel (Jacqueline) and David Vogel (Lisa). Grandparents of 17 and Great Grandparents of 13, their love and guidance helped to foster generations of loving caring individuals. Services for both Russell and Sherry will be held on Saturday, March 20, 2021, at Anderson Hills United Methodist Church, 7515 Forest Road, Cincinnati, OH 45255 at 12 Noon. Friends may visit at the Church on Sat. from 11 AM to 12 Noon. Interment to follow at Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
