Obituary for Theresa S. Rieke (nee Breitenbach)
Theresa S. Rieke (nee Breitenbach), age 59, of Union Twp., passed away April 25, 2021. She was born September 27, 1961 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Vernon and Agnes Breitenbach.
She was the beloved wife of Nicholas L. Rieke, devoted mother of Timothy (Sahithi) Rieke and Elizabeth (Scott) Emmons, caring grandmother of Miraya and Brayden Emmons, dear sister of Michele (Bill) Lukens and Lisa (Peter) Brooks, and loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. She will be deeply missed by her family.
Theresa graduated from Sycamore High School and went on to start her career at Mercy-Anderson Hospital, where she worked for 26 years. While working, she earned her Associate of Applied Sciences degree in Computer Information Systems at University of Cincinnati Clermont College. Most recently, she spent her career at Macy's in the Fraud Prevention Department for the past ten years.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, and going on vacations to the beach. When she was at home, she loved having family gatherings and playing cards or board games. In her free time, she liked watching movies and doing arts and crafts. She always looked forward to babysitting her granddog, Rocket.
Friends may visit at T.P. White & Sons Funeral Home, 2050 Beechmont Ave., Mt. Washington, on Friday, April 30th from 4 to 7 pm.
