Cookie,
Rest in peace in the arms of God.
I cannot claim to truly have known you for our paths so rarely crossed.
Yet you touched my life in ways in ways both big and small.
The memories of your voice and smile at holidays and family gatherings is forever etched upon my soul.
I am saddened by your passing from this world.
Yet I am warmed for having shared at least some small part of your life’s journey.
My wife Betty and I have made a donation in remembrance of you to Feed The Children
Your nephew Patrick W. Kelley.

When I imagine Cookie at heaven's gate, I know she will be greeted by a whole stadium full of people, her large and fascinating family, her mom and siblings, all of them cheering her kind heart and gentle courage as she passed through this life and endured until she finished the race. And at the front will be Darin. I will always remember you, Cookie. May you be borne by wings of angels and rest in the arms of Mother Mary.

In loving memory,
Jane Elfers
