Obituary for William "Bill" Wright Jr.

William "Bill" Wright, Jr., 85, passed away peacefully on February 12, 2021 at the Lodge Nursing and Rehab Center in Loveland, Ohio. Born in Avon, Illinois, he was preceded in death by his mother, Mabel Sherwood (Keaton) and his father, William Andrew Wright, Sr. He is survived by his wife, Carol Bernice Wright (Robertson), and his three sons, Michael Craig Wright (Patsy), Steven Christopher Wright (Laura), and John Anthony Wright (Pam). He is also survived by nine Grandchildren and nine Great Grandchildren.
His career, spanning many years, was as a Ceramic Engineer working for many different companies producing home/commercial sanitary products to consumer household products. He did not let the lack of a college education prevent him from succeeding. His career, starting as a plant hourly employee. Through hard work, he advanced to Plant Operations Manager. His passion for his job led him to be recognized in the Ceramic industry as a thought leader and expert. Bill was active with the Masonic Order and the J.B. Covert Lodge #437 of Cincinnati, filling several leadership roles including the Secretary of the Lodge. He was a devout Christian and loved leading the Church as an ordained Deacon of the Baptist Church, a Sunday School Teacher, and a Bible scholar. Bill was a lover of dogs and working in his yard/garden. Bill had the most pride in his marriage to Bernice, his love and passion for 65 years with the same pride coming from her. He was happiest surrounded by his family.
A visitation is planned for Wednesday, February 17, 2021, 4:00-6:00 PM at T P WHITE & SONS Funeral Home, 2050 Beechmont Ave, Mt. Washington with the J B Covert Lodge #437 F&AM and Scottish Rite Ring services on Wed. at 6 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the J.B.
