Alice Deta Dailey Zeter

Alice Deta Dailey Zeter passed into glory at home in Princeton KY on Sunday, September 20th with her family at her side.

Born to Eunice and Ralph Dailey, on November 23rd,1925 in St. Augustine, Florida. After growing up in St. Augustine, Alice graduated from The University of Southern California, where she also met her husband Merrell. She pursued a second degree later in life at Miami University. After settling in Cincinnati, Ohio, she taught art in the Forest Hills School District, including to a few of her grandchildren.

Alice was the matriarch of her family and loved by many. Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Portrait and landscape artist, ceramicist, photographer, art educator. She created many works of art, and as the family photographer, kept albums that show the impact she had on so many. Alice was intelligent, engaging and kind; she loved her family and extended family fiercely. Alice encouraged her loved ones through cards, letters and time spent together. Alice loved the outdoors, good manners, a bit of bourbon and a sweet dessert. In her retirement in Princeton KY, Alice was doted on by her son Tim and his wife Cindy.

Alice is survived by son David (Susan) Zeter, Tim (Cindy) Zeter, son in law Chet Rogenski. Her legacy is carried on in her grandchildren Kevin Rogenski (Tracy Updike), Jayde Rogenski (Kevin Nester), Ian (Marianne) Rogenski, Chris (Jami) Rogenski, Jenny (Seth) Hershey, Christopher (Alexis) Zeter, Tony (Audrey) Zeter, Courtney Stewart (Steven Patton) and Jennifer (Joe) Beebout, and great grandchildren Ellyana Rogenski, Avery and Harper Hershey, Francesca and Bear Rogenski, Bryson, Kaleb, Bree and Miles Zeter, Knox Stewart, Greyson Patton and Joey Beebout.

Preceded in death by her first (and third) husband Merrell Zeter, second husband Elmer Weber, daughter Jennifer, daughter Pam, granddaughter Brittany, great grandson Isaac.

Alice was a treasure who had a loving presence to share with all in her life. She loved the Lord and we know she is rejoicing in heaven.
