Alphonse R. Lammeier

Alphinse R. Lammeier, age 100 of Anderson Twp., passed away, November 5, 2026. He was born to the late Herman and Adelaide Ortman Lammeier on September 21, 1926. He was married to the late Eugenia "Genie" Varakakos (Varris) Lammeier on August 27, 1949 at St. William Catholic Church and celebrated 75 years of marriage. He is survived by his children, Peter (the late Barbara) Lammeier, Greg (Barbara) Lammeier, Angela (Donald) Clark, and Candie (Wayne) Huston. He will be missed by his loving grandchildren, David, Nicole (Patrick Burrell), Stephanie, Jason, Adelaide, Alissa (Kevin Creamer), Sophie, Ethan, Sam (deceased) and his great-grandchildren, Abby, Stella, Amara, Quinn and Caroline. He was a proud graduate of Elder High School and along with his late wife, was a charter member of Guardian Angels Follies. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Guardian Angels Church on Tuesday, November 17th at 10:30 a.m. where family and friends may visit from 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Guardian Angels Peanut Butter Ministry. T.P. White & Sons Funeral Home serving the family.
