Beth Ann Steur, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, cousin, and friend, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on November 27, 2025, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Her kindness, humor, and generosity touched everyone who knew her.
Beth was born on February 18, 1955, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Oliver and Leslie Horn. She is survived by her devoted husband, Mike Steur; her children, Brian (Katie) Steur, Nora (Derek) Gehring, and Will Steur; and her cherished grandchildren, Kyle and Evan Steur, and Henry, Ella, and Oliver Gehring. She is also survived by her sister, Mary Horn, with whom she shared a lifelong bond.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Oliver and Leslie Horn, and her brother, TJ Horn.
Beth graduated from Saint Ursula Academy and attended the University of Cincinnati, where she met her future husband, Mike. They married on September 9, 1978, and moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where Beth completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy at the University of Pittsburgh. In 1988, Mike and Beth moved back to Cincinnati, where they have lived ever since.
Family meant everything to Beth. She treasured her many cousins and welcomed everyone into her home with warmth and openness. Friends remember her as someone quick with a smile, a kind word, or a thoughtful gesture. Beth's legacy is one of love, compassion, and gratitude. Her light made the world brighter, and her memory will live on in all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Beth's family will receive friends on Thursday, December 11, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of her memorial service at 12:00 p.m., at Madeira-Silverwood Presbyterian Church, 8000 Miami Ave., Madeira, OH 45243. A Celebration of Life will immediately follow the service at The Transept, 1205 Elm St, Cincinnati, OH 45202, in The Assembly Room until 5PM
