Betty Sue Wheeler

Betty Sue Wheeler (nee Carr) passed away peacefully on May 17th, 2025 at the age of 95. Betty was born on July 31st, 1929 in Henderson, Ky the oldest of 6 children to Jack and Lucille Carr. Betty lived a long, active life. She owned and operated The Pilot Inn and The Cape Cod in Hyde Park with her first husband, Les Wooldridge. She married Randy Wheeler in 1974 and they moved to Anderson Twp where she lived until 2019. Betty was active in her church (Anderson Hills Methodist Church), an avid bridge player, a mental health advocate, and a pet lover.

Beloved wife of the late Randy Wheeler, loving mother of the late Bruce Wheeler, proud grandma of Jessica (Tony Belperio) Wheeler, and great-grandma of Mateo Belperio.

Memorial Service will be held on Monday, June 16, 2025 at 2PM at T.P. White & Sons Funeral Home, 2050 Beechmont Ave., Mt. Washington. Friends may visit from 1-2PM.
