Elinda A. Crockett (née Ables)

Elinda A. Crockett (née Ables), age 71, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on September 1, 2026.

Beloved mother of Bryan (Lucy) Crockett and proud grandmother of Harper Crockett. Cherished sister of Sam (Pam) Ables, Gay (Tom) McDonald, and Jeney (Mike) Taylor. She was the daughter of the late Joyce A. Bless and Edward E. Ables.

Elinda is also survived by her partner of 26 years, Sam Vogler, and those who became family through their life together, including his children, Tobi, Patience (Eric), Koby, and Kory (Kat), and grandchildren, Carson and Caroline.

Elinda's life was centered around the people she loved. She treasured her family, the time they spent together, and the many memories they created throughout the years.

She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, partner, and friend, but even those words cannot fully capture what she meant to the people who loved her most. Her presence, her love, and the place she held within her family are irreplaceable.

Although her absence will be deeply felt, the love she gave so freely will remain in the lives of those she leaves behind. Her memory will live on in the stories shared, the traditions carried forward, the laughter remembered, and the countless moments that will forever bring her back to those who knew and loved her.

Elinda was deeply loved in life, and she will be deeply missed beyond words.

A memorial service honoring Elinda will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at T.P. White & Sons Funeral Home (2050 Beechmont Ave., Mt. Washington). All are welcome to attend and join the family in remembering and honoring her life.

Following the memorial service, all are also welcome to gather for a Celebration of Life on Thursday, September 24, 2026, from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at The Farmhouse at Emmett Ridge Farm (1805 Lindatel Nicholsville Rd., Amelia, OH 45102) , where family and friends will come together to share stories, memories, laughter, and celebrate the life Elinda so deeply shared with those around her.
