Elisabeth (Grand) McCauley, 91, of Cincinnati, Ohio was welcomed into the arms of her loving Savior on Wednesday, May 20th, 2026. Born January 28, 1935, in Monument, PA., Elisabeth was the daughter of Thomas and Jennie (Murphy) Grand. She was a 1953 graduate of Lock Haven High School.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Glenn L. McCauley; brothers, Paul Grand and Joseph Grand; and sisters Ruth Haldeman, Becky Wright, Naomi Carey, and Sarah McGill. Elisabeth is survived by three sons and two daughters, Steve (Tammy) McCauley, Larry McCauley, Gary (Lydia) McCauley, and Susan Muthler, all of Cincinnati, and Cathy Redmond, of Beech Creek; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Phebe Manotti, of Mifflinburg, PA., Rhoda Faust, of Louisiana, and Esther Stoffle, of Virginia.
Elisabeth enjoyed life to the fullest with many years traveling the United States with Glenn for the family-owned business of Aero Battery, Inc. She was employed with Aero Battery until her health no longer allowed her.
She bowled on a ladies bowling league for 35 years, loved spending her spare time playing Scrabble and teaching various card games ro her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed watching sports on Saturdays with her sone, Steve. She also loved pulling the handles at the casinos. She was so full of life.
Elisabeth's life-long generosity continues as she donated her body to the University of Cincinnati.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Cincinnati, Ohio, on September 5th, 2026.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Elisabeth McCauley.
