Ernest "Ernie" Overstreet Jr.

Ernie Overstreet, loving husband for 39 years of Kathy Overstreet. Devoted father of Tammy (Paul) Vogelgesang, Scott (Laura) Overstreet, and Kristi (Chris) Bryant. Grandfather of Kiley (Devin) Mazza, Cameron Bryant, and Evan, Logan, & Lydia Vogelgesang. Also survived by his sister Jennie (Overstreet) Minor. Ernie worked as a closing officer at Lawyer's Title for 34 years, bringing joy & laughter to the closing table. He loved to travel and ,with Kathy, visited many places. Cruising was his favorite! Ernie loved singing spiritual music of all kinds, and was a high tenor in choirs and other musical groups. He endured a 3½ year struggle with pancreatic cancer, making the most of every day. Funeral services will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 7770 Beechmont Ave. on Thursday, Oct 1, 2026. Visitation from 9:30-10:30am followed by Mass at 10:30am. All attendees are invited to share in Ernie's Celebration of Life in Heritage Hall, on the campus of the church.
