Eugenia "Genie" V. Lammeier

Eugenia Varakakos (Varris) Lammeier was born to Elizabeth and Peter Varakakos on January 19, 1928 and baptized at Greek Orthodox Holy Trinity Church in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was married to Alphonse Lammeier on August 27, 1949 at St. William Catholic Church and celebrated 75 years of marriage. “Genie” peacefully passed away February 1, 2025. She is survived by her husband Alphonse, sons Peter, Greg (Barbara), daughters Angela (Donald) Clark, Candie (Wayne) Huston. She will be missed by her loving grandchildren, David, Nicole (Patrick Burrell), Stephanie, Jason, Adelaide, Alissa (Kevin Creamer), Sophie, Ethan, Sam (deceased), Ian (deceased) and her great grandchildren, Abby, Stella, Amara and Quinn. Charter member of Guardian Angels Follies. Active in the flower guild of St. Gregory the Great and The May River Theater of Bluffton SC. Visitation Friday, February 7, 2025, 9:30 to 10:30 AM at Guardian Angels Church. Mass of Christian Burial immediately following.
