Frank E. Seta

Frank Ernest Seta, 69, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on July 2, 2026.

Frank was born on September 21, 1956, in Washington, D.C., to Louis and Vilma Seta. Frank is survived by his wife, Meg Seta; his mother, Vilma Seta; his mother-in-law, Mercedes Heller; his children, Christa Seta Kursmark (husband Matt Kursmark, son Emmett) and Louis Seta (wife Eleanor Seta, children Elijah, Caleb, Benjamin, and Claire); and his siblings, Annamarie, Diane, Jim, Paula, Margy, Patty, and Ernie. He was preceded in death by his father, Louis, and his first wife, Julie Seta.

Music was Frank's lifelong passion, and he played guitar in bands throughout his life. Beyond music, he found joy in fishing, hunting, golf, and cooking. Above all, Frank cherished his family. He adored his role as a husband and father, and treasured time with his five grandchildren. Frank was larger than life - dependable, generous, and full of joy. A man of integrity and loyalty, Frank loved openly, never afraid to share his laughter, his tears, or his heart.

He spent over two decades at Baldwin Piano Company, rising from regional sales representative to Vice President of the Piano Division, before serving as Chief Marketing Officer of Gibson Guitars. He later founded Seta Music, from which he retired in 2025.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 10, at 4 p.m., with a reception to follow at St. Timothy's Episcopal Church, 8101 Beechmont Ave., Anderson Township.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Cincinnati Museum Center, Frank Seta Baldwin Masterpiece Fund. During the last five years of his life, Frank lovingly restored a historic Baldwin piano, which he donated to the Museum Center, where it will be on display; this fund will ensure the piano receives the care it needs to be enjoyed and played for generations to come.
