Gary Shaffer

Gary A. Shaffer, age 80 of Pierce Twp., passed away, February 24, 2025. He was the beloved husband of Barbara Shaffer (nee Ruhoff), devoted father of Jennifer (Scott) Miller and Holly (Michael) Fay, loving grandfather of Olivia, Abigail, Jake, and Aiden, and dear brother of Scott Shaffer, Bruce (Cathy) Shaffer, and the late Wally (Donna) Shaffer and Tina Conners. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Guardian Angels Church on Friday, March 7th at 10:30 a.m. where friends may visit from 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass.  Memorials may be directed to the Eastern Box Turtle Conservation Trust EBTCT.org
