Georgia Kaye Nelson, 83, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2026. She was born on October 13, 1942, in Jacksboro, Tennessee, where her life of kindness, resilience, and love began.
Georgia will be remembered for her gentle spirit, warm smile, and the unconditional love she shared with her family. She found her greatest joy in spending time with those she loved, creating cherished memories that will remain in their hearts forever.
She is survived by her two sons, Randy (Alicia) and Michael (Marcia); her grandchildren, Chris Nelson and Elizabeth Smith; several beloved great-grandchildren; and her sisters, Margaret Hickman and Lorene McGhee. Also, Reva (Jeff) McGurk, Jan (Mitch) Suggs and Josh (Amber), Jessica and Sarah (Caleb). Each of them held a special place in her heart and will forever cherish the love and memories she shared with them.
She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Angela; her grandson, Ryan; and her brother, John Madison. Though their passing brought great sorrow, her family finds comfort in knowing they are reunited in eternal peace.
Georgia's legacy is one of love, strength, kindness, and unwavering devotion to her family. She lived a life that demonstrated compassion, resilience, and quiet grace, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Though she will be deeply missed, her memory will live on through the lives she touched and the love she gave so freely.
A celebration of Georgia's life will be held at T P WHITE & SONS Funeral Home 2050 Beechmont Ave. Mt. Washington (Cincinnati) on Sat. Aug. 8 from 1-3 PM with a service at 1:30 PM. Family and friends are invited to honor her memory by sharing stories, supporting one another, and remembering the warmth and generosity that defined her life.
