Gregory Joseph Zink

April 8, 1962 — September 25, 2025

Gregory Joseph Zink, 63 of Delhi, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, September 25, 2025 after a long illness. Greg was born on April 8, 1962, the fourth of six sons of Richard and Rosemary Deimling Zink. During childhood he lived in Newtown, attended St. Anthony School in Madisonville, Turpin High School in Anderson Township, and a few years at Miami University and the University of Cincinnati. He worked for many years at Kroger as a technical writer.

On March 15, 2003, he married the love of his life, Pamela Vincent Bordiere Zink. In his younger days, Greg was a baseball umpire at many levels around Cincinnati. He enjoyed playing softball, soccer, and shooting pool. He was a passionate volunteer for the Delhi Skirt Game and the Greater Newtown Civic League.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his in-laws, Robert and Constance Vincent. He is survived by his wife, Pam, son, Tony, brothers Rick (Karen), Michael (Betsy), Jeff, Doug, and Stephen (Beau), brother-and-sister-in-law Dan and Jeanean Vincent, and 11 nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 3, at 11:00 AM at St. John Fisher Church, 3227 Church St., Newtown, OH 45244. Visitation will be held at the Church prior to the Mass, 10:00-11:00 AM.
