Gwendolyn Lois Dement

Gwendolyn Lois Dement (nee Hamlin). A long-time resident of Anderson Township, passed away peacefully on September 6, 2025 at the age of 81 after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease. Gwen was born February 27, 1944 to the late Arthur E. Hamlin and Mary Florence Hamlin of Bridgetown. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great- grandmother she found great joy in her family. Gwen was the wife of the late Orland R. Dement, Mother to Scott Baker (Valarie Hines), Troy Baker (Cathy), Grandmother to Christopher Baker, Tiffany Baker, Joanna Baker and Great-Grandmother to Brooklyn Newman. She was also step-mother to Cynthia Dement and David Dement.

Gwen graduated from Oak Hills High School in 1962 and was a proud Highlander and Cincinnati resident. In 1999 she retired from South-Western/Thomson Publishing following health issues. When not caring for her family, she could be found doing crafts and scrapbooking while listening to her countless Elvis records and CDs.

Visitation will be held Friday September 12, 2025 from 10:30 am -12:00 pm with Funeral service at 12:00 pm at T.P. White & Sons Funeral Home, 2050 Beechmont Avenue, (Mt. Washington) Cincinnati, 45230. Graveside services will follow at 1:00 pm at Graceland Memorial Gardens, 5989 Deerfield Rd., Milford, OH 45150
