Helen Rose Fehn (nee Lippolis) age 96 of Cherry Grove, passed away August 31, 2026.

Helen was a life long resident of Cherry Grove, and passed away peacefully at home on August 31st, 2026. She was born to the late Peter Lippolis and Ida (nee Palmisano) Lippolis. Helen was the beloved wife of the late William D Fehn. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Sister Elaine (Marie Lippolis), Ida May Curtis, and Frances (Peterson) Link. Helen was the devoted mother of 5: Michael (Mary), the late Steve (Sheila), Bill (Jennifer), Bob (Tina), and Lynda Fehn. Helen was the cherished grandmother of 12 and great-grandmother of 10.

Helen was a 70 year member of Saint Thomas More Parish where she was a member of the Rosary Altar Society. Helen was a 40 year member of both the International Brotherhood of Magicians (IBM), where she edited the brotherhood's newsletter, and The Society of American Magicians (SAM). Helen was a lifetime, 70 year member of both Take Off Pounds Sensibly (TOPS) and Keep Off Pounds Sensibly (KOPS). Helen worked at Cherry Grove Kroger for 39 years, retiring at the age of 93.

Helen will be remembered for her sense of humor, warm smile, strong faith, and love of art. Over her lifetime, she created hundreds of watercolor paintings and pen-and-ink drawings. Her strong work ethic began at a young age, working at her father Peter Lippolis's general store, butcher shop, and gas station at the corner of Beechmont and 8 Mile in the old Cherry Grove Schoolhouse. During the Korean War, she sewed parachutes, and she later managed a busy household raising five children before spending 39 years at the Cherry Grove Kroger.

Helen is now peacefully reunited with her beloved husband William (Bill) Fehn.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Thomas More Church on Tuesday, September 15th at 12 p.m. Family and friends may visit at T.P. White & Sons Funeral Home, 2050 Beechmont Ave., Mt. Washington, on Monday, September 14th from 6 to 8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Helen's honor to the Alzheimer's Association of Greater Cincinnati.
