Irene "Reene" J. Bagel

Irene "Reene" J. Mofford Bagel (nee Meyer), age 88, passed away on August 14, 2026. Reene was loved by many and survived by the Mofford Girls: Kelly (Stephen) Teegarden, Susan (Michael) Wiederhold and Christine (Ryan) Clark. Born on the West side of Cincinnati on January 6, 1938 to the late Harvey C. Gladys R. Meyer.

Reene was a lover of life's adventures. What she loved the best was the freedom of driving. Destinations were important but not nearly as much of the drive getting there. Everyone that rode with Reene to this day, still has a story to tell. Reene ever met a stranger and enjoyed a good laugh. She was the light in many lives and will be missed by many nieces, nephews and childhood friends.

Graveside service will be held on Friday, Sept. 18th at 11AM at Spring Grove Cemetery (family will be meeting at the front gate at 10:30AM).
