James R. Best passed away on October 31, 2026, one day after his 85th birthday. He was the beloved husband of the late JoAnn Best (née Malunowicz) for 61 years as well as a loving father of four; grandfather of eleven; and great-grandfather of five.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
Gifts in his memory may be made to the Skin Cancer Foundation.
