Jay (James) Dorsey

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce that Jay Dorsey of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away on October 31, 2026, at the age of 52.

Jay was born in Cincinnati on July 13, 1974. Jay loved spending time with his children, family and dear friends. Jay was also a local sports fan and loved fishing.

Jay will be known for his kind heart, sense of humor, and the laughter he brought to those around him. His kindness and personality left a lasting impression on the people fortunate enough to know him. Though his passing leaves an immeasurable sadness; these memories will remain with those who knew him.

He leaves behind his children, Preston (fiancé Maggie), Mason, and Elise; and his siblings, Matt (Wendy), Mark (Molly), Mike (Marni), Steve (Tina), and Amy Bradford (Mike). Jay was preceded in death by his father, Matt, and his mother, Joann. He will also be lovingly remembered by countless nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends.

The family will receive visitors at T.P. White and Sons funeral home in Mount Washington on Friday November 6th at Noon, following there will be a service at Mount Moriah Cemetery at 1:30PM where Jay will then be laid to rest.

While he may be gone from our sight, he will never be forgotten.
