James "Jim" G. Sheehan

James G. Sheehan, age 87, of Mt. Washington and formerly of West Palm Beach Florida, passed away on May 15, 2026. He was the beloved son of the late John and Edith Roehm Sheehan, devoted brother of Joann McDevitt, Mary Elizabeth Sheehan and the late Robert, Donald, John, Virginia Sheehan, Patricia Weber and Rosemary Welage. He is also survived by 65 loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Jim was a great lover of the arts. Throughout his life he was drawn to drama, art and music. There was always music playing throughout his homes. He studied at the University of Cincinnati’s College of Music. He enjoyed playing the piano all the years of his life.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Francis Xavier church (611 Sycamore St., Cincinnati, OH 45202) on Thursday, May 28, 2026 at 10AM. Visitation will be held from 9-10AM at the church. Burial at St. Joseph New Cemetery.
