John S. McCullough

John S. McCullough, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, passed away peacefully at the age of 87 on August 1, 2026, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Born on September 14, 1938, in Chardon, Ohio, to the late JD and Catherine McCullough (née Stewart).

He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy R. McCullough (née Reed), with whom he shared an enduring love that began in 1957 when they met as freshmen at Ohio University. Together, they raised three wonderful sons: Jay McCullough, John Barrington McCullough (wife Melissa), and Wesley McCullough (wife Luz Angela). John's legacy continues through his five cherished granddaughters-Mary McCullough Davis (husband Matt), Catherine "Katie" McCullough, Kiley McCullough, Lauren McCullough, and Lily McCullough, and his two adored great grandsons, Hudson Davis and John Foster Davis.

He was a proud graduate of Lima High School in 1957 and later earned his Master's Degree in Engineering from Ohio University in 1962, where he also became a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. John spent 35 years with Cincinnati Milacron Machine Tool Group in Oakley, where his passion for engineering flourished. He also imparted his knowledge as a dedicated industrial arts teacher at Reading High School.

A devoted member of Knox Presbyterian Church, John was known for his warm spirit, love for family gatherings, and enthusiasm for Ohio University football. He shared many heartfelt memories with his Milacron retirement group and remained a long-time fan of the Cincinnati Bengals. Travel and adventures with family were among his greatest joys.

All are welcome to visit, share memories and refreshments on Monday, August 10, 2026 at Knox Presbyterian Church (3400 Michigan Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45208) from 11:30 until the time of the Funeral Service at 12:30PM. Following the service burial at Spring Grove Cemetery.
