John R. Van Pelt

John R. Van Pelt (Cincinnati, OH), beloved partner of Theresa (Teri) Wilson, departed this life on October, 13th 2025. Devoted bonus dad to Krystle (Matt) Huffman, Joseph Wilson and Vivian Wilson. Proud grandpa of 6, and great grandpa of 1. John is also survived by his sisters Janice (Jerry) Ludewig and Cindy (late Charlie) Goodman, numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, great great nieces and nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents Ruth and Clarence Van Pelt, his brother James Van Pelt and his nephew Jerry Taylor Jr. 

John founded J.C.M. Excavating in 1989, with sister Cindy and friend Monte, and retired in December 2024.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24 from 5-7PM at T.P. White & Sons Funeral Home, 2050 Beechmont Ave., Mt. Washington.
