Josephine Russomanno

Josephine Russomanno, age 94, of Anderson Township passed away Wednesday, December 3, 2025. Mrs. Russomanno was born in Caposele, Italy, on March 19, 1931, to the late Vincenzo and Antonietta (nee Pietropinto) Russomanno, and immigrated to the US in 1953. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Rocca Russomanno, in 2001.

Surviving are 4 younger sisters, Maria, Tanina, Gerardina, and Anna; two sons, Gerald (Carol) and Anthony (Lynn) Russomanno; 3 grandsons, Joe, Tony (Maria), and Andy (Corinne) Russomanno; 3 speacial "surrogate grandchildren", Becky (John) Tegan, Joey Moretti, and Lauren Hawley, and 7 great-grandchildren.

Although she has left this physical world behind, Josephine's influence and memory will carry on in the countless people touched by her love, unmatched wit, and superb Italian cooking. Above all, she was the greatest mom and grandma anyone could hope to have in this world.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 from 12pm-1pm, at T.P. White & Sons Funeral Home, Mt. Washington. Graveside service to follow at 1:30pm at Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
