Kathleen "Kathy" M. Pharo

Kathleen "Kathy" M. Pharo (nee Moore), age 79, of Cincinnati, passed away on July 25, 2026. She was born on December 11, 1946 to the late George and Frances Moore (nee Puthoff).She was proceeded in death by her son, Jimmy Pharo, grandson Michael Thaman, granddaughter Katie Thaman, brothers Paul and Michael Moore and sister Mary Jo Strieker.Kathy is survived by her husband James "Jim" W. Pharo, daughters Joni (Michael) Thaman and Jennifer (Brad) Jarrold. Proud grandmother of Rebecca (Ryan) Smiley, Abby and Ashley Jarrold, Cole and Chesnie Pharo. Sister of Maureen Moore, Nick (Sharon) Moore and sister-in-law of Tom Strieker. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

She was a loving wife to her husband for over 55 years. A special mother to her children and a very devoted grandmother to her grandchildren. She was a faithful Catholic actively involved in St.Veronica Parish for over 50 years. Among her hobbies included crocheting, reading, puzzles, playing games her favorite being Scrabble and she enjoyed cooking for others especially during the holidays.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, July 30 at 12pm at St. Veronica Catholic Church (4473 Mt. Carmel Tobasco Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45244). Friends may visit the church on Thursday from 10:30am-12pm. Burial Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
