Kimberly "Kim" J. Meyerrenke

Beloved wife and partner of Daryl Meyerrenke, loving mother to Aaron (Amanda) and Austin (Megan) Meyerrenke and Emily (Josh) Smith. Grandma and GaGa to Abby, Ava, and Annabel; Madelyn, William, and Wyatt Meyerrenke; and Levi, Elijah, and Evie Smith and her beloved Collie Paddy.

She was the creation and gift of our Lord God Almighty, and was preceded in death by her mother, Janet Parker; her aunt, Joy Clark; and her grandmother, Leona Moehring Clark, who raised her to be the most Christlike example to all who knew her. Kim is also survived by an extended family of cousins and in-laws who included her in their families when hers was so small. This includes past members of Calvin Presbyterian Church. She will be missed by all those whose lives she touched.

Kim was the 1976 valedictorian of Amelia High School and a student at the University of Cincinnati pre-med program and studied at the Cincinnati Bible Seminary music program before deciding that her earthly purpose was to become a wife, mother, and friend to the aforementioned people and to glorify God with her incredible singing voice. No finer example of a human being has graced our presence.

The family would also like to publicly express their deepest gratitude to the healthcare warriors of the University of Cincinnati Medical Center and the Anderson Township EMS and Fire and Rescue Department for their tireless efforts to help Kim and so many others these past 4½ years.

After a long, courageous fight and victory over cancer, Kim could not overcome the radiation damage which prevented her from being with many of the people she loved so dearly for the past couple of years.

A celebration of life will be held for Kim on Thursday, October 1, at noon at Bridgeway Baptist Church, 1177 Ohio Pike, Amelia, OH 45102. Lunch will follow immediately after in the church fellowship hall.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Cincinnati Animal CARE, Anderson Township Historical Society, Multiple Sclerosis Society, or the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.

To honor the life Kim lived, the family asks that you join us in living as she lived, by striving to live like Christ, keeping God first and always placing others before yourself.
