Loreta Gill

Loreta Gill (nee Fieno), aged 95, passed away on December 27, 2024. She was preceded in death by her late husband, Henry Gill. Loreta was the beloved mother of Jennifer Gill King (Doug), Lisa Gill Argiro, and the late Denise Gill-Roflow (Sam). She was the cherished grandmother of Joshua, Jessica, Ben, Emily, Jared, Alena, and Nola, and a proud great-grandmother to five great-grandchildren.

Loreta was the daughter of Fortunato and Adelina Fieno and was one of ten children. She is survived by her siblings Bertina, Joseph, Rosina, and David. She grew up in Fairfax and worked for many years at The Cincinnati Milling Machine Company before marrying Henry Gill and moving to Anderson Township, where she lived until her death. She worked at McNicholas High School as the bookkeeper/treasurer for 24 years. After retiring, she was an active volunteer at Guardian Angels Parish and Mercy Anderson Hospital.

Visitation will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, January 3, 2025, at Guardian Angels Church, 6531 Beechmont Avenue, Cincinnati, OH. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Loreta's memory to Hospice of Cincinnati.
