Margaret L. "Sis" Whalen

Margaret L. "Sis" Whalen (nee O'Connor), age 93 of Mt. Washington, passed away April 29, 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert M. Whalen, devoted mother of Mary Sue (Jim) Jackson, Mike Whalen, Tim (Jean) Whalen, Maureen (Kevin) O'Brien, Colleen (Mike) Lohrer, Theresa (Clint Phillips) Whalen, and Peggy (Dan) Simmons, dear daughter of the late Harry and Loa O'Connor, loving grandmother of Nicholas, Erin (Joe), Patrick (Mikaela), Daniel (Rachel), Eric, Tina (Nate), Jason (Madison), Megan (Pat), Evan, Nolan, and Callie, and caring great-grandmother of Aidan, Connor, Grady, Shea, Emma, Monroe, and Madeline. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Guardian Angels Church on Monday, May 5th at 10:30 am. A private family interment will immediately follow at St. Joseph New Cemetery. If desired, memorials may be directed to McNicholas High School or the charity of the donors choice.
